Hi! I’m Maria O’Donnell and am thrilled to be returning to CECP teaching Math 090 and Math 099. In addition, I direct the CECDC choir (sometimes as an AIM class, other times as an actual class—it depends on how the schedule works itself out). I also am the advisor of Student Council. For twenty years I have enjoyed teaching piano lessons to eager young kiddos. I’m a big DIY-er at home, from building new kitchen cabinets, to fixing the plumbing…I love figuring it all out! On a beautiful day, if my hammock’s not calling me, I love to go hit the tennis ball around a bit—you can’t beat the Colorado weather. I have four wonderful children—two college graduates (GO RAMS…GO CYCLONES!), a college freshman attending South Dakota State University, and a sophomore in high school. My family loves to hop in the van and travel around the great U.S--we have been to all of the lower 48. The history and the beauty of our country is amazing, and we have been fortunate to have seen it all.
Teaching here at CECP is not a job to me…it’s an adventure. I love the kids and I love what I do. What a privilege it is to be here.
